Olivia Gregorich

B.A. Theatre Arts (Lawrence University)

 

Olivia is a recent graduate from Lawrence University with a degree in Theatre Arts and Creative Writing.  An aspiring actor, playwright, director, and musician, recent directing credits include her own adaptation of Shakespeare's Pericles as part of her role as Artistic Director of Prescribed Escape Productions, an education-based student theatre company.  Performance credits include Gint (Oldie Mama), Much Ado About Nothing (Beatrice), Marivaux's The Test (Jenny), Somewhere North (Blake), and Cymbeline (Imogen), and she is celebrating her recent debut as playwright with a production of her semi-autobiographical play NINETEEN. Outside of her Lawrence career, Olivia has studied with the Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin and with the Shakespeare Academy at Stratford, CT, where she returned last summer as part of their Alumni Company, a team of four actors charged with adapting, directing, designing, fundraising, performing, and planning a tour of a Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena/Titania/Snug/Puck), including a performance in Central Park.  Originally from Greenwood, WI, she is excited to be returning to work with the CART for the summer in the capacity of director and theatre educator.
