CITY OF NEILLSVILLE

Murals Project

The MURALS Project is intended to bring life and interest to buildings and spaces around the City of Neillsville for both Citizens and Visitors.  It is envisioned that tourism traffic should increase along with the correlating economic impact of visitors and Mural viewers.  The primary goal is to provide a vibrant and enjoyable downtown area for visitors and community members to enjoy.

Making better use of the existing space and facades with the City of Neillsville can make it beautiful, help preserve buildings and increase tourism.

Artists

We are looking for talented/motivated artist to help. Currently, we are unable to hire artists, so, as I've heard many times before, were paying in EXPOSURE (sigh).

We do cover the cost of materials and will prep the surface for you. In the early stages of this project, we are interested in historic themed murals, vintage advertisement, and a stylized pair of wings. In the future, we will do an open call for proposals.

If you'd like to volunteer your talent, please contact either Barb or Natalie.
