Students will hear stories, sing, dance and do art.
Classes are designed to help
preschoolers
learn how to match, sort, count and differentiate between similar items. (Dirty

Oil Painting
For Young Adults

6th –12th grade Fee: $80
This
workshop will introduce the beginning student to the fundamentals of oil.
Learn how to
sketch your design on canvas, how to render three
dimensional forms through the use of
different techniques, tones, color tools and com-osition.
The instructor will demonstrate,
lecture and work with students individually.
Three
Weeks of Art Fun, Two Classes Each day at 10 AM - 12 Noon & 1 PM - 3PM
Register for one class, one day of classes or a full week of classes!

Students will complete an art project in each class.
Lessons are designed to teach the elements of art.

11 - July 15 “Magic
of Painting”
Classes are
designed to teach painting techniques.
Students will use watercolor, acrylics and mixed medium.

18- July 22 “Cartooning,
Graphics– Sculpture ”
Classes will teach basic drawing skills and will include cartooning and writing
exercises and 3-D projects.
July
25 - July 29 “ARTEFFECTS”
Classes will cover techniques for creating textures and painting effects
in ink, watercolor, acrylics and oil pastels.
Students will look at the science of art.

CAE after school art is designed to make learning about art fun and educational. Students learn the how and why of making art. Students learn the role of line, light and color in art and ideas such as artistic intention, mood and subject. They will discover some of the “ Great Artists” and develop an art vocabulary.
