Governor Mike Huckabee Announced Grant Award to CAE

    For the ninth year CAE has been able to bring “Art In 3R’S” to the Van Buren Schools.  Once again CAE will be able to bring this program to the area thanks to a $17,800. grant which was awarded to the center by the  Arkansas Arts Council.  This grant will allow us to integrate art into the school curriculum.  One component of this program is a puppetry show presented by Wood Strings Puppetry.  The November performance will be presented at the Alma Performing Arts Center (PAC), by parting with PAC this show will be seen by thousands of children in the River Valley.  Shwan Adair  will work his art magic as he brings art to the  six Van Buren Elementary Schools.
